Of course when building a brand, especially a creative one, getting external validation from people in your industry is a huge motivation booster. But, we don't always get it when we need it. If this is really your passion, you have to learn to push through periods of insecurity or doubt. Eventually you'll get the recognition you've worked so hard for.
